As most of you know this breed was what sparked our trainer Catie’s true love of horses. From her first hunter horse Gizmo to her heart horse Cheerio they have always had a very special place in her life.

We had an amazing time at Makeover 2018 with Hero and King. The Kentucky Horse Park is an amazing venue and it was truly an honor to present Hero for his dressage test in the Rolex Arena.

In 2019 we’ve decided to focus on the transition process from racing to riding as a whole. We now have several clients with OTTBs and they are all in various stages of starting their new lives. We will share their stories here as well as on our facebook page.

As for Hero and King? They are loving life in our lesson program.

King is the walk trot master and just the sweetest and kindest mount anyone can ask for. He has riders of all ages and is enjoying the simple life off track. This winter will find him out on the trails showing the younger horses just how its done.

Hero continues to advance his dressage skills and has started to perfect not only his lateral work, but also begin working towards more advanced movements that will see him quickly climbing the levels in the dressage ring this season. He also of course has a huge fan club of kids that are ready to show him on the flat and even take him over some jumps.

We can’t wait to see what 2019 brings for our racehorses as they continue to transition from the Sport of Kings to the Kings of Sport.

We’d like to invite everyone to follow our journey as we take you through the transformation from racehorse to riding horse. Please check back here often for updates. You can also follow us on Facebook by clicking here.
